Winds all defense, capture and (what i know) one offensive spell
as far as i know wind by itself cannot create illusions, that would require refracting light(light magic/illusion magic) or controlling the ambient temperature (both fire and ice magic) it would require extremely complex training.
Oh, and i found something that could equate to "status effects" from Vetus.

Projecting malevolent magic simply by focusing evil intent into a gaze. However, regardless of its uses, this type of “magic power through eye contact” is considered one of the foundations of magic as a craft.
As the name implies, evil eyes are generally associated with negative magic – petrification, charm, and various destructive powers. Thus, there are also many types of protection that ward against magic achieved via eye contact.
As such it would require negative uses of magic and other odd studies
