Yoko came up behind the spirit form of the Ultimate Spirit of Water, with his Shinmeiryu skills he dealt a direct hit to the spirit monster, natch. The electrical explosion managed to stop it's mental focus, breaking the spell and sending the water splashing back into place.

"Hey spirit! Get..."

Yoko released a barrage of Zankusho at the monster, hitting the body with numerous blasts of Ki

"The!..."

Yoko released a Zanganken attack and sliced the into the demons body with a bisecting slash.

"****!.."

Yoko finished the more with his Hyakkaretsu Okazan, combining the storm of petals with the spirits intolerance to his Exorcism skills, it attacked the spirit from all sides.

"Outta my boyfriend!"

Oh god, there's so many plot holes.

(Plotholes how? the amount of time spent in each is slowed down more than the last, you technically spent a few days in order to get to this point, hence how Yoko came in)

Nhieling started his move, Yoko had given him the perfect opportunity. If the spirit here had a soul, ge could at least disrupt him. Getting in close combat with his puppet, he start slashing through the water. It couldn't damage it, but at least the mental pain caused by the attack could help Yoko to break the water spirtir control over Umi

"Accursed Shinmeiryu! I will not allow you to take my host again!"

Moving at speeds impossible to catch, the spirit shot around his defenses and went straight for Yoko's throat with his outstretched demon claw. Just as he was about to silence the Shinmeiryu, he was stopped. His host began to fight off his presence, using his willpower to stifle the spirit inside of him.

"And you child!? I gave you power beyond your comprehension and you impede me still?!"

Mortimer was hurt by the attack. And boy was it painful. personally he thought he was going to be wripped in half by the vertical blade of water... But at the last second he realized, it was water. And that in Umi's mind things worked according to a persons past experiences. Personally, Mortimer had never been cut in half by a blade of water, so it didn't... It did however replicate the experience of being tossed by a wave about forty feet and slammed into the course sand, dragged through it and then buffeted and thrown some more... an experience oddly reminiscant of the time he was cruched underneath several tons of rubble. Still he was alive, even if he wasn't moving. Despite being a almost fifty meters away, he could still make out Umi and Yoko fighting each other.

With all the magic he could muster he cast his curse at Umi, hopping to weaken the spirit controlling him enough for Yoko to take the shot. "Evil Eye"

"Ready set, RESEAL!"

Umi literally absorbed the demon back into himself through some inverted osmosis thing. With his body under control once again, he expelled everyone from his mind

"Alright, GET OUT! before I absorb your consciousness into mine!"
