Rie fulfilled her attack, stabbing the shark clean through. The shark soon vanished leaving behind nothing more than smoke.
"We did it! Kanpai!" Rie cheered with a bright smile.

"Yeah! We won!" William too cheers with Rie.

"Now, now you two. There are stronger monsters ahead." Rickardo warns, as he tries to get them further down. This place was a rather grimacing cave. Will looked over at Rie.

“Will you be fine with only one sword?” He asks her as they continue down.

Rie nodded and smiled. "I think so yes." Rie said as the trio continued onwards.

"Okay." William simply replies, as they arrive at the final part. A woman with a seal hat and flowing blonde hair, holding a large trident spear was standing infront of a large sealed door. Almost instantly after seeing Will, Rie and Rickardo the mosnter throws her spear, with a tidal wave of water flying behind it at Will and Rie. "Deflectio!" William chants, creating a barrier only to be destroyed...

Rie's eyes widened in alarm as the tidal wave came at them, brining her shinai up she managed to somehow deflect the tidal wave (or most of it) away from the trio, this however ended with Rie's remaining Sinai shattering as well.
"Oh no, this is not good... What do we do???" Rie started to panic slightly at the loss of her shinais.

Will was unsure too, it's very dangerous for an unarmed person. “I-I'll fight her Rie. You stay back, leave this to me. I'll protect you, no problem!” He smiles at Rie.

“Oh my, how admirable.” Rickardo lets out a joking laugh.

“Very funny,” William sighs at the Ermine. The monster had already begun aiming for another attack, charging up her magic she slams her first into the ground causing ice stalagmites to emerge from out of the ground. “Go Men, Quinque spiritus ardescat coentes sagittet inimicum!” William chants, sending 5 blazing punches of fire melting and stopping the stalagmites.

Selki looks in confusion, “A fire mage I see…”, taking the opportunity William dashes towards her at amazing speed.

“Go, Ardescat spheres, tentatio meus hostilis!” William chants, sending three large fireballs at Selki who tries to block them with the newly reformed trident.

Rie observed the bravery of Will as she tried to keep herself out of harm, dodging attacks when they came at her. "We can't keep this up forever, what do we do?" Rie asked as she ducked under a stray ice piece.

“How annoyingly resistant you two are…” Selki sighs angrily, swinging her arm wildly creating a tidal wave of ice flinging towards William. As the tidal wave crashes down, Will quickly arises from the rubble and closes in the short distance, trying to shrug off the pain and numerous injuries. “Molten magma attero ferrum parietis pro nos! Magma Fist!” William chants, punching Selki right into stomach, sending her flying into an icicle pillar.

“T-that’s not all…” William pants, “My strongest spell, Go Men A, Pyro flamma, ustulo hellfire, servo mihi quod efflectum meus foes! Fell Flames…” William mumbles sending a barrage of flames upon Selki.

“Eeiyah!!” She screams loudly in pain and fustration. "How dare you do this to me~~!” She screams in pain barraging Will and Rie with numerous ice weapons, ranging from shurikens to swords to arrows.

Rie tried her best to dodge the many things thrown at her but she couldn't avoid them all, resulting in Rie getting cut by one of the swords (though only a shallow cut it sill hurt)
"This isn't working, don't you have ANY idea on how to get us out of here alive?" Rie said, sounding strained.

Sorry to interrupt(go ahead and delete this after Will, but are we using the Breakthrough system?? If not

(OOC: Yes I know, Will's spells are unstable and not nearly as strong, technically though he did memorize how the spells work during the time skip, but that's not really fair, so I'm going to have another training mission soon with Rickardo to learn my spells. Lol.)

"The only way's to destroy her!" William shouts over to Rie knocking down one of the flying. Barely grazing another. "Go Men, Aestuo incendia wrap inter meus hostilis quondam penetro enchanted area! Inferno Twist!" He chants as fire erupts from underneath Selki, who at the same time sent a tidal wave of ice at Will and Rie. "Go, Flamma Orbis!" He chants once again sending the small ball of flames to block the attack.

As the orb defends against most of the tidal wave, the remaining was easily avoided. Equipping his iron knuckles he dashes towards Selki, delivering a barrage of punches only to be swept into a large rocky wall. Little did Selki know fire was surrounding her. "Fiery Captor..." William chants, "Rie! I've used too much magic, the rest is up to you! Find something to defeat her!" Will shouts over to Rie.

Rie nodded, looking around for something to use, when she suddenly found a memory.
"Should you ever find yourself without a weapon, focus your ki and imagine the weapon of your choice forming in your hands." Rie didn't have time to question the memory so she simply did as she was told, focusing her Ki (even though she had no idea how), forming the visible ki into a sword.
"Its over. Aku Zuko San." Rie stabbed the sword of pure Ki into Selki, ending the fight. Rie turned towards Will, her hands bleeding after the use of her Ki in such a manner.

William smiles, giving Rie a thumb up as he sat down, obviously tired. “We finished the trial,” He says to himself with a huge grin.

“Yup. That was some pretty good teamwork!” Rickardo compliments happily, “Though it would be better if you made her your partner.” He snickers.

William wobbly tries to stand, being able to, however suddenly yet almost instantly a minute after Selki’s defeat the large, massive door behind Selki slowly creaked open and mist filled the room. “W-what is this?” William murmurs shockingly.

“Get out of there!! Hurry! You have to leave now!” Hathaway’s voice could be heard from very, very far away. A monster emerges from the sealed room, it seems if you look ever further it’s a completely new section of this cave… The monster took the shape of a deadly ominous figure, resembling a large, thickened flightless bird.

“Kaw!!” It roars out loud as blood spew’s out of its mouth, showing it had just killed something…

“This thing…… Rie, William you have to run!! You can’t beat it!” Rickardo shouts, “Unless… you make a pactio!” He says with a smug face.

“Pactio!? No!! Rie doesn’t even know what that is!” William shouts over to Rickardo.

Rie tried her best to dodge an attack from the beast but couldn't do it quite well enough, ending up getting slammed into a wall, breaking a few of her ribs.
"Itai!" She cried out in pain before slumping down to her knees.

“Rie!!” William shouts over, dashing towards his friend, delivering a powerful kick to the monsters neck, however it seemed to be ineffective and it slams its foot into the side of William’s ribcage, sending him flying into a large rock pillar.

“Master! I’ll heal Rie, you distract that thing… She doesn’t seem to be doing well.” Rickardo says rushing over to Rie and begins healing her very, very, very slowly. “You should make a pactio with Master William, you know?”

Rie shook her head to clear it. Pactio? What?
"What do you mean *cough* make a pactio? What is that anyway?" Rie asked, pain obvious in her voice.

"Go A, Unus spiritus ardescat coentes sagittet inimicum!" William chants punching the bird square on the neck with his blazing arms. One punch was all he could do in his fatigued state and lack of magical power.

Rickardo looks back in worry, “Master! Come here a second!” He orders.

“W-what…?” William coughs, avoiding the beak of the monster and begins to sprint over.

“Rie, a pactio is when two people… kiss and you gain a card from it. A pact, so to speak. However the kiss must. Yes, must be on the lips.” Rickardo nods triumphantly. “You can get a lot of power upgrades from making a pactio card, even a item set just for you…”

Rie tilted her head (or as much as her ribs allowed her to do so) cutely to the side and looked confused. "Chii?" She made her trademarked confused yet utterly cute sound.
Rickardo merely sighed and gestured towards Will.
"Just kiss him, I'll handle the rest." He said impatiently, Rie nodded and got up to her feet.
Rie then proceeded to Kiss William squarely on the lips (and putting in a little bit of passion into the kiss for good measure).

William's movement stopped and his face turned bright red. Looking at Rie, she didn't seem to be nearly as embarrassed.

“PAC-TIO!!” Rickardo shouts as the light from the circle (that he just created in time) shines even brighter and soon dies down… Leaving a pactio card slowly floating down. Rickardo took the initiative and created a copy of it for Rie to use (and one for himself). “Say adeat to summon the weapon!” He quickly advices as the monster draws near.

Will himself however, just stood there looking blankly. Rie’s lips were quite soft giving a rather gentle experience. He immediately stopped thinking like that, to avoid any odd thoughts.

Rie turned towards the beast, card in hand and said.
"Adeat." this followed by Rie gaining twin katanas in her hands (which were still bleeding lightly). "Its over. Shōja Hitsumetsu." Rie said before instantly vanishing and appearing at fifteen different places, striking the monster to death in the blink of an eye.

"Awesome work..." William pants tiredly, ready to head back up. As the trio make their way to the top, they are congratulated by Rachael and Hathaway. “Does this conclude our training…?” William asks Hathaway.

Hathaway smiled proudly and nodded.
"Yes. I believe it does." She said with a bright smile.
"Chii." Rie said and also smiled brightly (the kind that could melt hearts).
