Jess didn't want to get in Melle range of the creature because of the attacks William was using and the risks of doing so other than that, but Melee was where she was at her best. She she resorted to her Rock Punch repeatedly, the only Ranged attack ahe had that did more than a low amount of damage. She keppt doing it rapidly in sucsession... "Terris Mundus Arcanis Terri Rangi! Terris Mundus Arcanis Terri Rangi!" But finally mispronounced the incantation after about 5 times.

The monster grinned, licking its lips sadistically as Jessica punched its face. With a massive roar, it was about to bite Jessica’s head clean off; until William jumped on it, grabbing its neck, as he slams its face into the ground. “Take it out!” William shouts, wondering why it was targeting Jessica. Squeezing the monsters neck, its hide wasn’t hard, so if they take it out now, it may be possible... but its magical power and speed are top class, they’d lose if they don’t take every opportunity.

[No Rock punch is a ranged attack. Maybe I should rename it >.<]

Finally in Desperation Jess took out her pair of Tonfa and started Jabbing and swinging at the monster with all the strength and speed she had... She was careful not to hit William as she did this, and Goro did what he could with his ice an water spells to slow the creature down. Jess heard familiar voices... Her students, at least another half-dozen of them were coming to defend their sensei and her friend William... They each used their own magic, careful not to hit William as they trying to stop the rampaging creature.

The monster soon succumbed at the arrival of allies, however with one last effort, it spits a marker onto Jessica's body as it keels over. "A-a marker...?" William questions, grabbing Jessica and the students and leaving the room. There couldn't be any more damage to where Jess lives, William would regret it so much if her room was trashed.

Looking up... flying vampires... as expected. The monster from before was more than likely a sacrifice to draw us out of the room. "Jess... you can get everyone out of here. I'm going to be the one playing hero, I do want to be a magister magi, ya know... if I can't protect you, what kind of person would I be? But... why are these monsters attacking you?" He smiles, pointing at himself.

Jess sighed. "I've never told anyone this but it's another part of the curse. They said I'd die by the fangs of a vampire by my 25th birthday. I didn't believe them at the time..." Jess saw the vampires and decided she better run for it. Her students followed reluctantly, they'd never seen their teacher run before so they didn't know what to think... Mostly it just lowered their morale, which Jess could sense but couldn't do anything about at the moment.

"Well then, I'll prove that part of the curse wrong." William winks, pointing to himself with his index finger. "You can count on it." William knew his magic was very effective against undead and vampires, as fire magic was not only light, but extremely destructive amongst the other elements.

Staring at the vampires, they charge at Jess, "Orbis Flamma!" William shouts, as the orb crashes into any of the vampires that tried to get past Will. "Good luck, you'll need it!" William snickers, surrounding his gauntlets with fire as he engages them in close combat.

Jess was relieved that William was so willing to help, her students watched him in awe. "Might as well give them a hard time following their target." She said, running and directing her students to follow her. The reluctantly obeyed, wondering why she'd never told anyone. Some of the smarter ones guessed it was because then she knew people would be afraid to be around her, and they were right.

William was glad that Jess could think carefully and protect her students from the obvious danger. "You ready?" William asks, as he begins chanting. "Dozens of vegrandis balls of flamma seperate quod thesaurus off meus foes. Fireflies." William finishes the spell, as a barrage of miniature fireballs attack and stun the vampires as he had disappeared from where he was previously standing. Standing behind a vampire, he smiles sadistically.

Punching the vampire square on the face, with a flame engulfed gauntlet, sending the vampire crashing through the wall. "Who's next?" He asks, as they all begin to charge and swarm him, using their numbers to their advantage. Spinning around, "Olympus flamma burst super meus foes! Flamethrower!" He shouts, creating a cyclone of flames blazing upwards, injuring all the vampires in the area.

Jess continued to run, but it seemed the vampires had them surrounded. There was no way out unless... So Jess started to bring up Earth walls and topple them onto the vampires, not know ing what else to do as she tried to clear a path through the attacking horde of them. Just then she heard a very familiar voice scream out... "Look!" One of her students said and pointed. Was that... Kagami?

That was indeed Kagami. who had seen what was going on and had screamed in fright. Then given a very determined look. "NO ONE FUCKING HURTS MY FRIENDS!!!" She finally shouted, whipping out her buckler and cleaver to attack the other vampires and help Jess escape such a nasty fate...

William had cleaned up fighting the vampires in his area. Seems they weren't extremely strong, but they did sap William's magical reserves away quite easily. He was tired and felt like sleeping, but he couldn't. Jess might still be in danger, at least, he hoped not. "Jess!" He shouts, running over to where she was but the broken bits of earth from her magic didn't help him get to her any faster.

Jess could use the help Kagami was giving... When she heard William shout her name. She turned around, letting Kagamiand her students handle things momentarily as she began to go over to William... If her paid enough attention to her eyes he'd notice she had that look in them - she'd need to talk some things out with him later.

William saw Jessica up ahead, she looked slightly sad, but he was relieved she seemed to be alright, physically and hopefully mentally. "Seems it didn't unlock, but you're alright!" William smiles, pointing at the sweatband he gave her. It cost 1,000,000 Drachma to get it enchanted, but she didn't seem to unlock the abilities.

The sweat band was specially crafted by the survivors of the Everlast Desturction, involving the ability to dig up earth with no magic at all, just as if she was using magic. For example, she could dig through walls and earth as fast as she could run. However, even William doesn't know the requirement to use such an item... even though he kind of helped make it.

"Well... I better get going..." He smiles, turning around waving goodbye. He pointed at the battle, Kagami and the students easily defeated the lesser vampires in the battle. "Cya," Is all he says parting.
