Seamless Transitions - With the ability to summon silently he can easily switch from his defensive swarm to his offensive summons
Shadow Control - Joshua is able to take total control of one of his shadow summons, if this is done his body goes into an unconscious state until the link is broken

Shadow Communications - Joshua is capable of speaking with his shadows telepathically or in their own language. The shadow summons are also capable of speaking English.
