The Kurokingyo survived due only to Althaea jumping the engines at the last second, skirting out of the way of the large part of the explosion, but the damage was done. It caught the side of Umi's barrier, breaking it and the ships as it blew apart the back of the ship, destroying most of the deck, and throwing Umi and Yoko from the ship and sending them hurtling towards the ground at speed that would destroy their bodies.
But naturally they were prepared, with a simple wind spell, Umi was stable again and was on his broom the next second, picking up Yoko and leading them to the ground with a simple thud. They were in the middle of the Long Champ Mountains, stuck on the side of the mountain, they had completely lost the rest of the team. Looking up at the sky, they spotted what attacked them: the Spiritual Cannons of a ship in the Megalo Fleet.
