Nuclear Fusion, at its purest sense is what alchemy could be considered.


Like compressing Hydrogen Atoms together to create Helium Atoms, and compounding those atoms in Lithium, Carbon, even heavy metals.. like Gold.
Yes, lots of energy is given out, but this is what true alchemy would be.

At the least.. it would be Rank 15.


A sun expanding would by beyond Rank 15. Seeing how that much power would destroy everything out to the asteroid belt and might even go further.. and don't forget that once the sun reaches its full expansion then it explodes, unleashing a blast of unmeasurable force and matter outward even beyond its expansion maximum.
Whatever is left is either a White Dwarf, which will be the size of a planet (at most) and that will flicker out too one day, or a Black Hole (which is even worse than a 1000 Supernova Explosions) since a Black Hole means a highly compact collection of mass.. a force of gravity so powerful that not even light can escape.

Not really a black hole. A compressed field of gravity that might destroy matter, but true dark hole is beyond this since it can expand if it get enough initial energy, and absorb matter.

Concerning nuclear reaction, there is two type : fission and fusion.

Let say that an atome is stable at a certain weight. If it's heavier or lighter it mean it's filled with energy.

The A bomb (Hiroshima) and nuclear plan are using the fission energy : You crush a big atome (created with uranium) to create a big release of energy under heat form.

The H bomb (never been used on people) is something like 1000time stronger. It rely on a chain reaction when you make atomes fusing. I'm not a specialist of nuclear technology, but if I recall well to start the H reaction you have to use a A bomb, then the energy will increase extremely fast.
Reducing a goldbar to nothing would mean releasing an incredible level of energy, but you would need energy to launch the reaction, so it's a technique that would require raw matter (unstable one for better efficiency) and a lot of power to start the reaction.

Anyway, I was talking about Nuclear Fusion, like what the stars do. They compress Hydrogen in Helium and then make other elements by pressing those together, etc.
I also started talking about what happens when a star runs out of Hydrogen.. and dies.
..but, it takes a lot of power to make something like Gold.. which has an atomic number of like 79.. which is 79 protons & electrons.. and to make a bar of that.. %*@!.. You gonna blow something up from all the energy released from its creation.



So yeah, Creation Magic is epic tier, gooooooo for it.
