Rules [MUST READ] Empty
PostSubject: Rules [MUST READ]   Rules [MUST READ] EmptyTue Jan 26, 2010 9:49 am

#1. God Modding.
There is no god modding allowed. You can't stop a 1 ton truck driving at you, at full speed with your barehands. You don't have spells that can obliterate a mountain. It's all really common sense. Remember your starting out character might have huge magic potential, but without training it means nothing.

#2. Starting Spells.
Please follow this rule when making your character. You have to start out with the two beginner spells and the spell that is supplied for your class.
Wizard and Magical Duelists - Sagitta Magica.
Omnyoudo - Kuchiyose: Goki (of your choice, you're able to make the Goki up).
Cleric - Cura.
Custom Magic classes are able to make the third spell up entirely of their choice, and if you really don't like your class starting spell you can choose to make your own, MAKE SURE IT'S NOT A LOT STRONGER THEN THE ONES ABOVE.

#3. Starting Skills.
Skills are for attacks that don't involve magic and usually involve their own skill or using ki. Starting physical classes that don't use magic are able to create three entire skills up to their choice. However they too, will not be approved unless they are beginner like.

#4. Incantations.
A spell with incantations will be MUCH stronger then one without. The only way to even get it realtively close is try and master and perfect the spell. Wizards will mostly use spells with incantations to increase their power dramatically, while duelists will usually go without incantations to release deadly, fast spells. There are items to lower incantation time and continue the original power.

#5. Approving Spells, Artifacts, Items first.
Whenever you update your list of spells on your profile, please notify by making a post in your thread so they can go under evaluation. This is the same for Artifacts, however please post about Artifact updates in the "Pactio Broker" thread, located in Magicus Mundus section. Evaluation for items will go on the thread you got them in.

#6. Two Pactio Artifacts.
Yes. They are allowed, however you need to follow these three requirements:
1. Go through a dramatic change in something, such as hobbies, resolve or personality.
2. The second pactio can be done with the same magister, however quite a bit of time must have passed since the first pactio.
3. You won't be able to get your first pactio card again even if you pactio with someone else.

#7. Earning Spells/Skills
You'll be able to earn spell and skills from NPC's stronger (or even weaker) then you. You can learn them in many cases from going to a library full of spells and information from going on a travel with a teacher who'll teach you skills and techniques. These are usually called 'Training Missions'.
During Training Missions, you have to TRY and learn the basics and how the skill/spell works. Here's a method named the breakthrough system:
1. Liking/Wanting to learn a spell.
2. Find out how it works. Experiment, be able to fully utilize it.
3. Practice. You must practice using the spells, on a rock, monster, anything.
4. After following this, you'll be able to earn the spell/skill.

#8. Earning Drachma/Yen.
Drachma is the currency we'll be using. If you got to the human world, it'll be yen. You can obtain money from helping NPC's, going out on missions with money as a reward. This applies for items as well. You start out with 1000 Drachma.

This is still in progress. Umi, Rie and others can private message me if you feel the need of more rules.

#9. Key-words
Key-words are what goes before an incantation, using them will power up the attack and make it easier to control. They are usually six syllables.

#10. Groups
Groups are created by you. They are very similar to clans or guilds. A group's do whatever you want the purpose to be! From exploring to fighting monsters. Most groups members make a 'pactio' with the 'leader'. To obtain a strong item/weapon.
