Najiko and Rose had known each other quite some time now, having met at one of the parties Jess threw for all her friends. Since then they'd been through thick and thin, having the bestest adventures together. But were they really friends? Or were they something more? Najiko thought they could be. She knew it had been love even if she'd previously tried to deny it. No wonder she kept saving Rose when she bit off more than she could chew. It was the only thing that made sense.
Now Najiko had planed to confess this to Rose in a lengthy letter, but had abandoned those plans. However, she hadn't disposed of the letter properly... And Rose soon came across it anyway. So Rose came to Najiko's treehouse which she'd made with Marie.
"Najiko?"
"Yes?" The little Ninja responded drowsily, having been taking a nap.
"I-I didn't know..."
"Know what?" Najiko looked out the window... and saw her letter in Rose's hands. "Oh..."
"... You'd... Decided not to tell hadn't you."
"Best wait until the time is right... But since you know now... Yes. I love you."
"Well at least you're honest.... But I hardly have the same feelings. For now can we be... Just friends? Please?"
