1. God-Modding and META-Gaming: No one likes it, so just don't do it.

a. Auto-hitting: You are NOT allowed to auto-hit someone. Basically, you can never say "I hit this person". Any attack or movement you make is an ATTEMPT. You can say "I fired a shot at him" or "I made to cut off his head" but the point to remember is that you cannot outright say that an attack was successful. That is for the other person to confirm in their following post and then apply the damage dealt to them as ACCURATELY as possible. If a person is auto hitting or avoiding attacks when they reasonably should not be able to, please inform them of their actions first and if they fail to correct the action THEN you may contact a mod to sort out the problem. Make a small attempt to work things out before involving a mod as they are busy and have lives too.

b. Omniscience: Your character doesn't have it, no matter how powerful they are. Your character does not know that the person sitting next to them is the long lost heir to an ancient bloodline because it is hinted in their profile. Meta-gaming and using out of character knowledge is illegal and at the VERY least you must role-play through a logical thought process as to how your character came to a conclusion about the other persons character. Same goes with abilities, your character has no way of knowing that the other person has mastered an element unless stated at some point.


2. In Role-Play: Stay in character as much as possible.

a. Out of Character: Keep it to a minimum. If you have something to say that isn't being said or done by your character, please either send a PM to the person or place it in a spoiler box. It just keeps the messages cleaner and makes everyone's lives easier.

b. Asking Permission: Please ask the person who started the thread to join it before you join, that is unless it is stated that it is open to join. Don't bother asking if it is stated to be a private roleplay.

c. Be accurate: Unless stated beforehand, your character does not know that there is a secret base below a building.


3. Profanity

a. Swearing: Please keep this to a minimum. We would rather try and avoid excessive swearing. Rather than your character constantly swearing you could say something like "I swore quietly to myself". We're not saying swearing is outright wrong, just as long as you don't swear too often.

b. Sex: You may allude to things happening "off-stage" with the consent of all parties involved. Nudity is allowed but please keep it to "he was stripped naked by the rogue blast" and do not describe anything in too graphic of detail. We are all adults here so you may say that it happened, but please don't describe.
