PersonalityUmi is usually a laid-back easy going guy, except he takes his jobs very seriously and is especially caring to people in need, he remains (some-what) calm, nurturing and analytical in serious situations. He has a insatiable love of books, magic and the study of magical societies and virtually anything about the world. After his transformation he remains stoic, lonesome and closed off to those he's not close too those he isnt close too. Humans annoy him.


History

(After the Jusanbutsu)
Ill split it up into a bullets:
-Umi went to the Ultimate Spirit of Water to regain his body
-He gave up his magic, and surrendered his "body" to the control of the Water Spirit
-He returned to school, but found the lying government run school ran parallel to his ideals, as they were both racist against the magic races and did shady dealings with criminal organizations
-He broke into the administrators office and took the teleportation magic, sending him to the Human world, where he seeks to create an organization to bring down the MM government and his former school.

Description: Surrendering his body and soul to the Ultimate Spirit of Water, he can change his bodies shape into water and becomes indestructible. Constantly regenerating slowly saps his magic and increase his madness level, it also takes longer to regenerate the more he uses it.

SUPER ESP
Description: Basic cognitive magic to perceive the outside world. Comparatively mundane, but important as a foundation. As the name implies, ESP is simply an extension on the normal senses of sight, smell, etc. which work by feeling changes through a medium. Some examples are: detecting specific types of magic, recognizing intruders in a specific area, detecting outside surveillance, seeing through illusions

Spell Delay: Intermediate
Description: This mage has the ability to delay up to 3 spells for up to 5 posts before losing them. Requires additional incantations to use, and must be set up beforehand.

Broom Mage
Description: This mage has the ability to ride a broom and can perform various broom maneuvers when on one.

Magic Type: Defensive/Support
Magic Description: A type of magic the heals strengthens and improves allies an allies condition. Lacks any offensive magic.

Effect:A simple magic of refreshment and recovery from exhaustion. A scented flower as a catalyst to achieve this effect.

Description: Conjures powerful anti-material and anti-magic barriers, at this level it creates three barriers. With the use of the word "Extendetum" it can be moved remotely to block other attacks, if not, they remain around Umi at all times. Lasts for 13 posts before it loses effect.

Incantation: Agite jovis alatum!
Range: 1-10 Meters
Description: A high level healing spell, it creates a field of healing magic that can heal multiple people at a time, can heal even the most severe of injuries.

Description: A high level status curing spell, it manifests itself as a magical array that removes diseases, conditions and negative magic.

Description: An enhancement spell Umi came up with, add +14 to the strength stat. Can be used on up to 4 people for 7 turns

Description: An enhancement spell Umi came up with, add +12 to the speed stat. Can be used by up to three people for 7 posts.

Effect: An enhancement spell Umi came up with, add +14 to the endurance stat. Can be used on up to four people for 7 posts

Description: A pinnacle of basic magic, summons a minor spirit of ESP that can detect magic around it within 200 meters. Cannot attack and is too weak to withstand a single attack.

Description: A type of illusion magic that can transform the person into any shape of form they want. The do not have it's abilities and the spell can be broken rather easily.

Sagitta Magica (2)
Type: Attack
Range: 1-30 Meters
Incantation: [Number] Spiritus Undiales, Coentes Sagittet Inimicum, Sagitta Magica, [version] Undinis
Description: A rudimentary battle spell that summons minor elemental spirits to attack opponents. The water version staunches its opponents speed and strength, but cannot at this level.

Description: An anti-physical instant water wall capable of stopping a ten ton truck, has the power to counter fire spells and drought. Because its instant, it only lasts for a short time (a turn), but can defend against fire spells 1 rank and up.

Any chance you could list the loopholes and time limits on becoming water. Maybe if he spends to much time in pure water form he begins to lose his sense of self and may die/ lose all his memories.

Well technically, it's on all the time because i no longer have a physical body, but Sealing, Anti-Spirit and Lightning magic should do damage, and of course im being Mind Controlled right now, so the madness problem is always occurring.

Edit: Oh wait, since shinemeiryu stuff is a slaying thing, would shinemeiryu(sp?) techniques work?

I noticed that you have a rank 10 barrier spell there.

I can see WHY you did it. But I think that you are pretty much trying to cheat the system.

So, until we can fix this, you may not use the spell Paries (5x2=10).

This is what I suggest you do.

Split it into two spells. Because if they are both at rank 5 strength, logically this spell would need to actually be rank 10, which you do not have a high enough intelligence for. So, again logically, removing half of the effect would make this a rank 5 spell.

Which would then leave you 5 MP with which you could make the remaining barrier.

... Layin' down the law.

I takes twice the time to create, so it is a Rank 5 spell i use twice, but its frim negima, and thats how they divide them up. They're two facets of the same type of spell that can work together, and LOGICALLY THEY WOULD STILL BE THE SAME SPELL

They are two different barriers. Meaning two different spells. That does not make it a rank ten spell just because you use both of them. So, split them up. Or Alternatively, just get rid of the (5+5=10). The way I see it, rank 10 is proportionally better than a rank 5 spell, better than two of them.

Not quite, since most people (other than Larita, cause i wrote her Limes Aeriales spell) have barriers that block any attack, mine do the same thing.......but retaliation is an awful color on you...

Ill take 2 mp of each, making it RANK 8 (which i can have) and then ill keep the two other Mp to save for another spell

Umi just either: separate the spell, put the rank as 5 and 5, so that proves the spell isn't rank 10.
